Guidance Note on Land and Conflict for Syria

Land and Conflict Guidance domesticates the Guidance Note of the Secretary-General “The United Nations and Land and Conflict” to the Syria context.

It intends to the guide the UN system to address land and conflict issues in Syria in the strategic and fit-for-purpose manner, in line with relevant international and national principles and frameworks, learning from experiences gained in comparable contexts, and building on the broad knowledge base developed by Technical HLP Working Group through their engagement in Syria in the last years.
