Transformation de l’informalité en prototype de logement durable : cas d’Alexandrie, Égypte
Cet article discute de la disponibilité ou du manque de terrains abordables pour le segment aux revenus les plus faibles de la société. L'article examine ensuite la proposition d'un prototype d'unité de logement structurel durable qui peut être conçu pour répondre aux besoins des résidents à faible revenu qui n'ont pas les moyens d'employer des travailleurs pour construire leur maison, et donc de construire eux-mêmes sans les compétences nécessaires. Si le gouvernement adoptait ce prototype, il contrôlerait la propagation des bidonvilles et améliorerait la gestion et l’administration des terres.
This paper discusses the availability or lack of affordable land plots for the lowest-income segment of the society. The paper then considers the proposal of a sustainable structural prototype housing unit that can be designed to fulfill the needs of low-income residents who can’t afford to employ workers to build their homes, hence build by themselves without the necessary skills. If the government adopted this prototype, it would control the spread of slums and enhance land management and administration.
